The Migration Policy Institute has published an article of Frank Laczko and Neli Esipova on the trends in Chinese student migration to the United States and the recent experiences of these students. The article analyses recent policies on Chinese student immigration and draws on the findings from our research conducted in 2024, which surveyed nearly 1,300 Chinese students in the United States. The data and analysis provided by the Study of Chinese Graduate Students in the United States stand as a landmark in this area of research.
