This report presents the findings of a survey conducted in Israel between September 8 and 22, 2024 by Multicultural Insights and PORI.

The study employed a face-to-face interview methodology (Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing – CAPI), carried out in respondents’ homes. The goal of a survey was to understand how the events of October 7, 2023 and current conflict influence personal choices (emigration considerations), perceptions of the future of the conflict and the future of Israel.

The survey targeted a representative sample of Israel’s adult citizen population – Jewish and Arab, aged 18 and over, with a total sample size of 1,012 respondents. Using data from the latest (2022) Census published by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics, the study incorporated specific population calculations and sampling techniques to ensure accurate representation. The survey design utilized a multi-stage random probability approach, with 100 Primary Sampling Units (PSUs) selected across various segments, regions and locale sizes. This methodology, coupled with strict quality control measures, was implemented to gather reliable and comprehensive data on the attitudes, opinions, and experiences of Israel’s diverse adult population.
