We are proud to continue our collaboration with the International Organization for Migration studying the internal displacement in Ukraine. 

Between May 11 and 23, 2023 Multicultural Insights conducted the thirteenth round of data collection for the IOM study of internally displaced people in Ukraine.

In this round, the  representative data were collected at a lower administrative level,  the oblast.

Although the full report is scheduled to be released in the end of June 2023, some of the important findings were summarized in the Snapshot Report. Here are some of them:

📍 Currently, the estimated total number of IDPs is 5,088,000

📍 The number of returnees is 4,757,000

📍Kharkivska Oblast is the primary oblast of origin of IDPs as well as the top IPD hosting oblast.

📍Displacement to locations within the same oblast or macro-region are most prevalent.
